MucaRe was registered in 2021 as a reinsurer domiciled in Zimbabwe. The company is licenced to do non-life reinsurance. It is involved in provision of reinsurance security in all classes of general insurance. Over and above this core activity, MucaRe also offer support services to its clients, who are primarily insurance companies and insurance brokers. These support services include risk management support, training and portfolio analysis.
