MucaRe was registered in 2021 as a reinsurer domiciled in Zimbabwe. The company is licensed to conduct non-life reinsurance and is regulated by the Insurance and Pensions Commission (IPEC). It is involved in the provision of reinsurance security across all classes of general insurance. Over and above this core activity, MucaRe also offers support services to its clients, who are primarily insurance companies and insurance brokers.
